To Kill a Mockingbird (Good)


Easily, and without fear of reckless hyperbole, one of the greatest films ever made. Gregory Peck brings into dramatic, silver-screen existence one of literature’s most compelling and honor-bound protagonists. It is one of those films that even half a century later still retains every ounce of its power and resonance. Seeing that film in a theater would be an absolutely incredible Christmas present; socks and neckties be damned.
