8 Great…Johnny Depp Performances You’ve Probably Never Seen

Arizona Dream (1994)

If it’s an average good time at the movies you’re looking for then this is not where to go. This almost baffling Emir Kusturica movie moves along at its own off-kilter pace and does exactly as it pleases, with Depp as a man who counts fish (but who claims to really “count their dreams”), moves to Arizona, resumes a relationship with his estranged uncle (played by Jerry Lewis, of all people, in a really subdued mood) and falls into lust with Faye Dunaway. Throughout all of it Lili Taylor plays the accordion to some turtles. Your willingness to just go with it and let it happen will be rewarded.
